The Shonen Throne
Verify Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, and One Piece to unlock The Hokage Seal on Aluvo.
These three series between them have defined what shonen anime means to multiple generations. Dragon Ball Z established the template: escalating power, impossible stakes, the fight as the primary unit of storytelling. Naruto added interiority — a protagonist whose need to be seen and acknowledged resonated with something real, and whose world was complex enough to sustain years of genuine investment. One Piece, now decades in, has quietly become something closer to a novel than a television series — a single continuous story about freedom, found family, and what it costs to pursue a dream the world says is impossible. Earning Series Mastery on all three doesn't just mean you watched them. It means you stayed.
